Esteria Tatum Miller, is a motivating, dynamic speaker with a story like no other.

Dr. Esteria Tatum Miller is a healthcare professional with a passion for global health. A published commentator, co-author, and speaker with a national platform, she has expertise in project and program management for chronic disease initiatives in vulnerable populations. In 2012, she was named “One of the One Hundred Influential Healthcare Leaders in America''. Her engagement with leaders at the local, state and federal level afforded her an invitation to the White House in October 2012 to meet with Secretary Kathleen Sibelius and Healthcare industry professionals about how to formulate interest in the community for the Affordable Care Act (OBAMACARE).

Currently, Dr. Miller has her own practice, Triumphant Conversations, LLC, is a private practice counseling/coaching organization providing person-centered therapy integrated with biblical Christian principles to individuals, groups and families. She became a counselor/coach because she experienced firsthand the benefits of counseling. Her counseling/coaching style is a combination of person-centered therapy integrated with faith. Her hope for each client is that they will be healed emotionally and spiritually and launch to a life of thriving. In September 2013, she had a “Season of Brokenness” leading to seven years of  incarceration. Her education at Shalom Bible College & Seminary laid the foundation for her biblical counseling practice. Additionally, she achieved her Community Health Worker Instructor (CHWI) Certification, State of Texas Mental Health Peer Support Specialist (MHPS) Certification and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Certification. She uses her training to resolve social determinants of health and benefit those who are in need of mental health support, advocacy, and referral.

She is motivated by her love for the Lord Jesus Christ and her three amazing adult children; Honoria, Amber and Christian and her parents, Reuben and Lois Tatum who are living with diabetes in their octogenarian years. Recently in December 2020, due to COVID-19 her 22-year-old son Christian “Chris" passed away. She is an active member of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas.

She is currently writing her first book, to be published and released within the coming next year. Her life’s work reflects the lyrics of the familiar hymn “If I can help somebody, then my living shall not be in vain”. Her vision statement is, “Now Also When I Am Old and Gray Headed, O God, Forsake Me Not; Until I Have Showed Your Strength Unto This Generation, and Your Power to Every One That Is to Come” (Psalm 71:18).
